ALBINO ECHIDNA SPOTTED

Date 19.10.2017

A rare Albino Echidna has been spotted at Coles Bay, East Coast.

You can see the new sighting of the albino echidna at The Freyciner National Park, who have been offering their cisitors a range of great opportunities to enjoy and admire the scenery over many years at the park.

The echidna has been seen over many years at the park and it’s most recent sighting has been captured by a photographer from the East Coast group.

Echidna’s are animals that resemble anteaters in South America but are also similar to other spiny animals! The usual echidna’s you may have seen were probably black or brown in colour however this special one has white spines and pink eyes!

What aussie animal is your favourite?
