Arborist Skills Assessment Australia

Arborists migrating to Australia are required to obtain the Arborist skills assessment for the Australian Skilled Visa.

Arborist ANZSCO Code 362212.

If you do not hold a relevant qualification as an Arborist,  you will be required to obtain the AQF III in Arboriculture and prove a minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Arborist, so that you can go on further to gain your Trades Skills Assessment from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) for the purpose of migration.

Currently, we are unable to assist with the AQF III in Arboriculture.

If you do hold a relevant qualification, and have 3 years of work experience, we can assist you to obtain the Trades Skills Assessment from TRA.

Arborist skills assessment Australia process

The Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) Arborist skills assessment is a paper-based application only and the skills assessment fee is set at $795.

There will be a list of mandatory documentation that you must provide and a list of useful documentation that you could include in your application. You will also need to supply contact details of work referees who can confirm your skills in the industry.

You will also need to prove that you have worked as an Arborist for a minimum of 12 months out of the last 36 months. Work experience will need to be proved via pay slips, invoices, bank statements, statements of service and more. You also need to make sure you supply photo/video evidence of you completing specific duties and tasks.

Down Under Centre Agency service £600 + VAT

The Down Under Centre offer an Agency Service to assist you in gathering the evidence required for the skills assessment application and liaise with TRA on your behalf.

On completion, you will receive your skills assessment letter which is required for a points-based visa for Australia.
