To be part of this exciting growth, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Associate Stormwater Engineer to join us and work with key clients in our Hamilton office.  Project work typically encompasses medium to large projects in the region but you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects throughout New Zealand across the Pacific.

Working with some of NZ’s best civil designers and engineers to deliver flagship projects, you will:-

  • Provide technical design advice for civil and multi-disciplinary projects, specifically for roads, drainage and general civil engineering

  • Job delivery, including experience in work planning and financial management, together with client relationship skills and proposal preparation.
  • Building strong customer relationships, and demonstrate your ability to understand our client’s core business and ensure that services meet their expectations
  • Participate in design teams undertaking drainage and civil engineering design for a wide variety of schemes including roads, wind farms, industrial engineering, power, water and land development
  • Build strong internal and external relationships

You will have a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent, with a strong track record earned in a consulting engineering environment.  With experience in assessing and solving stormwater management issues, quality and quantity; Stormwater modelling (experience in MIKE software would be an advantage); Preparing engineering designs; Preparing technical assessments (for resource consent applications, management plans etc.).

Self-motivated, you strive for technical excellence and exceeding client expectations.  You are passionate about developing and motivating others, whilst ensuring that the team works collaboratively to meet project deliverables.
