To be part of this exciting growth, we are looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join the team. The role will include working with key clients in the transport infrastructure sector to deliver medium to large projects in the region. There will also be opportunities to work on other projects throughout New Zealand and across the Pacific.
You will have a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent with a track record in civil projects and delivery. Experience with site related work would be an advantage. This experience would either be in a consulting engineering environment or a similar local government role.
Working with some of NZ’s best civil designers and engineers to deliver flagship projects, you will:-
- Be responsible for delivery and coordination of civil projects and associated reporting for work relating to airports, roads, road safety, earthworks and land development
- Have a passion for design coordination and civil project management
- Be responsible for delivering projects on time and to budget, while meeting clients’ needs and expectations
- Seek continuous improvement including the use of new technology where appropriate
- Provide support in developing proposals
- Develop and foster client relationships that contribute to repeat business
