Gardener (General) Skills Assessment Australia
Gardeners migrating to Australia are required to obtain the Gardener skills assessment for the Australian Skilled Visa. Gardener (General) ANZSCO Code 362211. Gardeners in Australia plants, cultivates and maintains parks and gardens.
If you do not hold a relevant qualification as a Gardener, you will be required to complete the AQF III in Parks & Gardens and prove a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Gardener. An AQF III Qualification is required for specific Trades, so that you can go on further to gain your Trades Skills Assessment from TRA for the purpose of migration.

Process for Gardener AQF III
You are required to prove you are a Gardener and have the necessary skills to work in Australia as a Gardener. The cost of the Parks and Gardens AQF III is $3,500.
1. Gathering your evidence for Gardener AQF III
To obtain the Gardening AQF III, you will need to prove a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Gardener. There will be a list of mandatory documentation that you must provide in your application. You will also need to supply contact details of work referees who can confirm your work experience.
You will also need to prove that you have worked as a Gardener for a minimum of 12 months out of the last 36 months. Work experience will need to be proved via pay slips, invoices, bank statements, statements of service and more. You also need to make sure you supply photo/video evidence of you completing Gardening duties and tasks.

2. Technical Interview for Gardener AQF III
Your assessor will review the information and evidence you have provided and begin to match your skills to the units/subjects in the qualification and organise an online technical interview. You will be required to answer industry related questions to identify your current skills as a Gardener.
Once you have successfully completed, you will obtain your Certificate III in Parks and Gardens and can then move on to complete the TRA Gardener (General) skills assessment Australia.
