Survey at Beca
Our innovative Auckland survey team works together to transform the spaces where we live, work and play. We provide surveying services for large infrastructure, construction, geodetic, topographic and cadastral projects across the region. The team are part of the national group of 90, including 14 Licensed Cadastral surveyors and a strong annual Graduate intake. This mix of experience makes Beca a rewarding and dynamic place to develop your career.
Our growth in the region means we are looking for upwardly focused Graduates and Intermediate Surveyors to join the team. This opportunity will see you taking responsibility for the co-ordination and direction of survey projects and survey parties, where you will be working autonomously or as part of a team to ensure delivery of quality projects within time and budget. Our varied workload means you be given the opportunity to specialise or diversify your skills across any area of survey be it topographic, cadastral or set-out using all the latest tools and techniques including 3D scanning, UAV and modelling of point cloud data. Our projects include everything from precise set out work, through to some of the most significant legalisation and Land Development projects in the Auckland, Nationally and across the Pacific region.
You will have a desire to grow your skills and develop yourself professionally, as well as assisting with mentoring and developing junior staff. You will start with a good level of competency in GNSS, robotic total stations, LandOnline and survey software, proficiency in 12d would be preferred but not essential and understanding of Autocad. An interest in laser scanning, UAV and other reality capture will be valued. A good level of NZ experience is preferred.
Our clients do incredible things every day. They are transforming their communities and changing lives through the structures they build, the products they manufacture, the services they provide, and the families they support. And we are right there alongside them. We are the problem-solvers – the thinkers, the creators, the planners and practitioners – who understand their vision and make things happen! We are 3000-plus professionals spread across 19 offices across the Asia Pacific.
While our experience has been 98 years in the making, it’s the fresh talent we’re nurturing, the innovative thinking we’re developing and the connections that we’re forging, that get us most excited for the future.
We can provide support with relocation and immigration to suitable applicants. You can find out more about our people and projects by visiting www.beca.com
