Survey at Beca
Whether our clients are looking to clarity property boundaries, avoid construction delays or to accurately understand the lay of the land, our extensive survey teams are there to help.
When you join our Survey team you will be welcomed by an innovative and collaborative team and be presented with a wide range of opportunities both large and small, which will not only challenge but will develop you personally and professionally.
We are seeking a surveyor with a wide skill base and who has a demonstrated knowledge of High Definition survey best practice including field collection techniques and processing using Leica Cyclone and Autodesk Recap software. This is an opportunity for you to join our progressive team to lead data collection, processing and delivery of both point cloud data and conventional survey projects under the direction of our Scanning Discipline Lead. As an HDS Surveyor your responsibilities will include; completing, coordinating and managing 3D laser scanning HDS projects from field work to product delivery.
You will manage the day-to-day coordination, mobilisation of personnel, vehicles and equipment for HDS field surveys. In addition, you will also coordinate and complete field acquisition and surveying as well as production of 3D point cloud model survey plans, information models and digital data.
As there will be opportunities to participate in the wider survey projects both in New Zealand and overseas experience and knowledge in the use of GNSS and robotic total station survey equipment would be an advantage.
Our clients do incredible things every day. They are transforming their communities and changing lives through the structures they build, the products they manufacture, the services they provide, and the families they support. And we are right there alongside them. We are the problem-solvers – the thinkers, the creators, the planners and practitioners – who understand their vision and make things happen! We are 3000-plus professionals spread across 19 offices across the Asia Pacific.
While our experience has been 98 years in the making, it’s the fresh talent we’re nurturing, the innovative thinking we’re developing and the connections that we’re forging, that get us most excited for the future.
