Our Beca Buildings Team
Across our global footprint, there are endless opportunities for building engineers – in terms of where you live, the projects you work on, and the opportunities and support you have to progress your career. Every building we work on is different, and the challenges we face constantly change. But we know the power of working together to create smart solutions. This means being part of a team that shares ideas across geographies and time-zones, to push boundaries and go beyond conventional approaches. We’re also dedicated to developing and sharing technical innovation and sustainable practices. Our past is full of ‘world firsts’ and the highest accolades for implementing green building principles. Today we are focused on surpassing these achievements by continually challenging and overcoming convention and constraints, to transform our world for the better.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Auckland. You will be joining the largest Building Services team in NZ of around 130 staff delivering iconic buildings across Auckland and South East Asia.
As the lead fire protection engineer you would be responsible for providing technical leadership to the fire protection services team as well as coordinating design delivery at project milestones. You will also become part of our Trans-Tasman fire engineering/protection discipline having over 30 technical fire discipline staff.
As our lead Fire Protection Engineer you will manage the design and delivery on a wide range of projects. You’ll have the ability to effectively communicate designs during design development and construction; site inspection / reporting and monitoring of construction activities – all in accordance with project programmes and timescales. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in the delivery of our national fire strategy.
We can provide support with relocation and immigration to suitable applicants. You can find out more about our people and projects by visiting www.beca.com.
