Process for Roof Tiler AQF III

Roof Tilers are not a licensed trade but many employers insist you hold your Australian Roof Tiling Qualification for registration and insurance purposes. It’s also important to know that each state and territory in Australia has different regulations and if you require a builders license you will need to obtain a Certificate III prior to applying for your builders License.

The cost of the Roof Tiling AQF III is $4,500.

1. Documentary Assessment for Roof Tiler AQF III

In short, you are required to prove you are a Roof Tiler and have the necessary skills to work as a Roof Tiler in Australia. You will need to provide evidence you have hands on training and work experience for a minimum of 3 years hands on training and work experience and that you have worked as a roof tiler for a minimum of 12 months out of the last 36 months.

There will be a list of mandatory documentation that you must provide and a list of useful documentation that you could include in your application such as; payslips, banking and statements of service. You will also need to supply contact details of one or two work referees who can confirm your skills in the industry.

Down Under Centre Agency Service £600 + VAT

Most of the evidence you gather is also required for your TRA skills assessment and visa. The Down Under Centre offer an agency service to assist you with the gathering of your documentation as it is considered to be the most difficult stage of your visa application. The Down Under Centre will also be able to advise how many years of work experience will be required to give you maximum points for your skilled visa. 2. Technical Interview for Roof Tiler AQF III

We will organise an Australian qualified Roof Tiler to discuss your application with you and your everyday working life via video call. If the assessor feels that you do not have the necessary skills then you may be asked to provide further information or complete a practical assessment which will be at your cost. The assessors understand that you may be nervous, they will discuss your application with you in a calm manner in a relaxed environment and do all they can to assist you and put you at ease.

Once you have successfully completed, you will obtain your Certificate III in Roof Tiling and can then move on to complete the Roof Tiler skills assessment Australia.
