We can assist Glaziers migrating to Australia to obtain the Glass and Glazing AQF III and TRA Glazier skills assessment for Australia. The Glazier skills assessment is required if you’re applying for a skilled points-based or ENS 186 employer sponsored visa. Glazier ANZSCO Code 333111.
If you do not hold a relevant qualification as a Glazier, you will be required to complete the AQF III in Glass and Glazing and prove a minimum of 5 years’ of full-time paid work experience as a Glazier, so that you can go on further to gain your Glazier skills assessment from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) for the purpose of migrating to Australia.

Process for Glass and Glazing AQF III
You are required to prove you are a Glazier and have the necessary skills to work as a Glazier in Australia. The cost of the Glass and Glazing AQF III is $3,450.
1. Gathering your evidence for the Glass and Glazing AQF III
To obtain the Glass and Glazing AQF III, you will need to prove a minimum of 5 years’ of full-time paid work experience as a Glazier.
There will be a list of mandatory documentation that you must provide and a list of useful documentation that you could include in your application. This includes contact details of work referees who can confirm your skills in the industry. You also need to make sure you supply photo/video evidence of you completing Glazier duties and tasks.

It is very important to remember that most of your evidence gathering for your Glazier AQF and skills assessment is also required for your skilled points-based or employer sponsored visa. The Down Under Centre can provide you with an Agency Service £600 + VAT to assist you with the gathering of your documentation for your Glazier skills assessment. 2. Technical Interview for the Glass and Glazing AQF III
Your assessor will review the information and evidence you have provided and begin to match your skills to the units/subjects in the qualification and organise an online technical interview. You will be required to answer industry related questions to identify your current skills as a Glazier.
Once you have successfully completed, you will obtain your Certificate III in Glass and Glazing and can then move on to complete the TRA Glazier skills assessment Australia

To apply for the Glazier skills assessment, you need to either;
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 as a Glazier and have 3 years’ of full-time paid work experience post NVQ Level 3 as a Glazier;
- Or if you do not hold an NVQ Level 3 as a Glazier, then you will need to obtain the AQF Certificate III in Glass and Glazing and prove 5 years’ of full-time paid work experience as a Glazier, so you can then move forward to apply for the Glazier skills assessment.
If you have a UK qualification as a Glazier and do not need the AQF III for the visa, then you may want to consider still obtaining the AQF as this will help when you are looking for Glazier jobs in Australia.
The cost of the skills assessment for a Glazier is dictated by TRA; you pay them directly. It is a paper based application only and the fee is set at $795.
The cost of the AQF III for a Glazier (Certificate III in Glass and Glazing) is $3,450 and you pay the RTO directly.
